Ijoha Egbadogwu Festival

This is a communal ritual sacrifice to a special shrine to mark the harvesting of new yam, and initiate age-grade activities. It takes place in September and lasts for three days.

It is held in Ado, Utonkon in Igumale. The Ikpila and Odrigbo amongst other dances accompany the festival.
