This is a display of a celebrant’s affluence, culminating in the purchase of Nyinya (horse). It is a boastful celebration of an individual to his age group and elders in Tiv land. It takes place anytime of the year. During the celebration of ‘Nyinya’, songs are composed in praise of the celebrant and musicians and dancers such as ‘Ajo’, ‘Genga’, and ‘Ingyough’ feature prominently.
