Internet Marketing in Nigeria
Internet marketing simply involves selling goods and services on the internet.
You can sell on your website or if you do not own a website, through an autoresponder (a software that sends series of pre-written mails to people at predetermined intervals after they register to receive those mails).
We are going to focus on doing business through a website.
Marketing, whether online or in the "real" world involves selling. This means that you have to know how to sell (and love selling), and can even sell snow to an Eskimo. You have a sugar coated pen that will make the most tight fisted customer bring out his plastic card.
If you cannot sell, even if your life depends on it, then there is no point venturing into the world of internet marketing, unless you have paid the price and become thoroughly schooled in the fine are of selling. Jumping right in without selling skills will be a waste of time, energy and resources. You can succeed online, but not in internet marketing.
The beauty of internet marketing is that all you need to start the business is your computer and internet access (at home, or through a cybercafe by transferring your files via your flash drive - hopefully without catching a virus).
Through internet marketing, you can market your skills or knowledge, or market other people's products pending when you develop yours.
