Cross River State stands on a very unique spot of what is known today as South South Nigeria (Niger-Delta region). Cross River State can be accessed by air through the Margaret Ekpo International Airport at Calabar. There are daily flights to Calabar, the capital of Cross River State from Lagos and Abuja.
